BACKGROUND: Mr. Loaiza is a retired Federal Special Agent who served with the United States Army (USA) first as a Flight Simulator Instructor for 8 years and later with the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC)
for 12 years. Upon leaving military service in 1993, Mr. Loaiza entered service with the Justice Department’s former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) as an Immigration Inspector. He left the INS in 1995 to start his career as a private security consultant specializing in the area of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Anti-Counterfeiting programs, Due Diligence projects and Physical Security Management. In 1998, Mr. Loaiza established his IPR and Corporate Security consulting firm based in South Florida. His company specializes in servicing the corporate security needs in the Latin American and Caribbean region. He is a licensed and insured Florida Private Investigator.
CURRENT SERVICES: Mr. Loaiza is the consultant for several corporations, including Levi Strauss & Co., Tommy Hilfiger USA, Calvin Klein, Inc., Nike, Inc., Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, 3M, General Motors, Quiksilver, Timberland, Walt Disney, Nautica, Abercrombie & Fitch, Dickies, Guess? and several others. He is responsible for establishing and managing, at different levels as required, their Latin American anti-counterfeiting operations and other security concerns in the region as required. As part of the brand protection initiatives for the Latin American region, Mr. Loaiza established a training program designed for judges, prosecutors (fiscals), police officers and customs officers.
